Run your whole grants program without the enterprise price tag.
GrantDesk takes applications online, screens each one for eligibility and missing items, moves reviewers through scoring, and tracks awards and sub-recipients to closeout. The lean, secure alternative to the heavyweight systems agencies RFP for and often cannot afford.
Built by JS Technology Solutions, a firm that designs and operates secure workflow and compliance software for public-sector and education clients. GrantDesk is designed to the intake, review, and reporting realities of a working grants office.
Intake, screening, review, and reporting in one place, without spreadsheets and email.
Most grants offices run this whole cycle by hand. GrantDesk carries it end to end, with a human in the loop at every decision. Four stages, continuous.
Intake
Applicants apply through an online portal with the fields, attachments, and program rules you define. No paper, no shared inbox.
Screen
Each application is auto-checked for eligibility and completeness. AI drafts a short summary and flags missing items and compliance risks for staff.
Review
Complete, eligible applications move into reviewer workflow with your scoring rubric. Scores roll up, conflicts of interest are enforced.
Manage
Awards, disbursement schedules, sub-recipient monitoring, and progress and closeout reporting are tracked against your compliance requirements.
Not a picture of an idea. The working interface.
Staff live in two views: a program dashboard showing where every application stands, and a review screen that hands reviewers the narrative, the score sheet, and the compliance flags.

Applicant portal & intake
A branded online portal takes applications, attachments, and required certifications, with the fields and program rules you define. Applicants save and return.
Eligibility & completeness screening
Every submission is auto-checked against your eligibility rules and required-document list, so incomplete or ineligible applications are caught before they reach reviewers.
Reviewer workflow & scoring
Assign reviewers, enforce conflict-of-interest rules, and score against your rubric. Scores roll up and rank automatically, with a full record of who scored what.
Award tracking & disbursement
Turn approved applications into awards with budgets, disbursement schedules, and milestones, and track drawdowns against what was obligated.
Sub-recipient monitoring
Track sub-recipient risk assessments, reporting due dates, and single-audit status, so pass-through monitoring obligations do not slip.
Compliance & reporting
Designed around Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and program rules, with AI-drafted progress and closeout report sections your staff review and finalize.
Assistive, with a human in the loop. Never an autonomous decision.
GrantDesk uses AI to remove the repetitive reading and checking that eats a grants office, and leaves every real decision with your staff. Nothing is awarded, denied, or scored by a model on its own.
Screens each application
Checks eligibility rules and the required-document list on submission, and lists exactly what is missing so applicants can be asked once, early.
Summarizes narratives for reviewers
Extracts and summarizes long application narratives and budgets into a consistent brief, so reviewers start from the same clear picture. Staff-reviewed, not final.
Flags compliance risk
Surfaces likely issues, cost items that read as unallowable, math that does not tie, duplicate benefit signals, for a human to confirm and act on.
Drafts report sections
Assembles first drafts of progress and closeout narrative sections from the data already in the system, for staff to edit and sign.
Answers routine applicant questions
An optional applicant assistant answers common "am I eligible / what do I attach / when is it due" questions from your own program rules, and hands anything else to staff.
Managed review desk (optional)
Our team can run first-pass screening and reviewer coordination for you, so a small office can process a large cycle without adding staff.
Works with what you already run.
GrantDesk sits alongside your existing systems and exchanges data through standard, file-based transfers, with an API where one is available. Nothing gets ripped out, and you are never locked to one vendor's stack.
System-agnostic by design
Agencies run different finance systems, different identity providers, and different case tools. GrantDesk is built to meet each of them through file-based exchange first, with an API where one exists, so a change of vendor never breaks your grants controls.
Already on a specific stack? We confirm the exact data-exchange mapping during a short scoping call before anything goes live.

Mature enough for a public-agency security review, from day one.
This is grants infrastructure that touches applicant data and public money, not a chatbot. It is designed to clear the reviews a serious agency requires before anything goes live.
Applicant-data privacy
Designed with data minimization, role-based access, and encryption in transit and at rest, appropriate to sensitive applicant and financial records.
Full audit trail
Every eligibility decision, score, award action, and report is logged with its reason, so any determination can be traced back to the evidence for a monitor or auditor.
Security-review ready
Vendor security assessment and IT risk-evaluation materials prepared up front, so procurement and InfoSec are not a surprise late in the process.
A rounding error next to the dollars you manage.
Published, flat, and small on purpose. Priced well below enterprise grants systems, with an optional managed review desk kept separate so the platform price stays honest.

Does AI decide who gets funded?
No. AI screens, summarizes, and flags. Eligibility determinations, scores, and award decisions are made by your staff and reviewers. Every AI output is labeled and staff-reviewed before it counts.
Do applicants have to learn a new system?
They fill in a clean online form with clear required-item prompts, save and return, and get told what is missing. It is designed to be simpler than the PDF-and-email process most offices run today.
Is it built for federal compliance?
It is designed around Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and common program rules such as ARPA and SLFRF, including eligibility checks, sub-recipient monitoring, and audit-ready records. It supports your compliance work; it does not replace your responsibility for it.
Do we need to run an RFP?
Usually not. GrantDesk is available through cooperative purchasing contracts your agency may already use, so procurement is pre-competed. We point you to the right vehicle for your state.
How fast can we be live?
A scoped pilot runs in weeks, not quarters. We configure one program, its eligibility rules, and its rubric, connect the files, and start taking applications on a real cycle.
What does the price actually include?
The subscription covers the portal, screening, reviewer workflow, award and sub-recipient tracking, and compliance reporting. The optional managed review desk, where our team runs first-pass screening and reviewer coordination, is quoted separately so the platform price stays flat.
